Loving the Universe

She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.
Her hair blue, her nose pierced,
Her arms tattooed with swirling constellations,
And she holds the universe inside her.

I don't know what love is,
But I want to love her
If love means that I can
Learn the galaxy's secrets.

My mother tells me girls can't love girls,
And my father doesn't know.
But can a girl love the stars in the sky?
